Show News

Exactly eight years ago Jazzy went to her first show - the Bernese Mtn Dog Club of SE Wisconsin regional specialty. She was six months and one day old and placed 3rd in a class of 16. This year she went as a veteran, won her class and was Select Bitch. She hadn't been shown since I finished her in 2012 and had only been shown once by someone other than me as a puppy. Here she happily went off with Jeri El Dissi and her tail never stopped wagging. Such a good girl. Thank you to our judge,Christine Mann for appreciating my little Jazzy.

Barberry Alice in Jaberwockland

Alice continues her winning ways.
Now ten points, both majors.

It is only fair that we give credit where credit is due. My girls could not have had their very nice and accomplished puppies without fathers.....

So here's to Bluemoon Steamboat Willie.

Willie is the sire of Angel, Snickers, JJ and Chance, among others.

He is owned by Carl Eschweiler and is trained and shown by Carl's wife, Mary Alice.

She has put 18 titles on Willie so far with the highest levels being Grand Champion, Rally Excellent, CDX (an advance obedience title that includes jumping and retrieving), Grand Master Draft Dog and Master Brace Draft Dog.

This qualifies Willie to be a Bernese Mtn Dog Club of America Versatility Dog Excellent.

There are VERY few of these.

Mary Alice, you and Willie are AWESOME!

October, 2016

Terry and Chance just keep racking up the titles. We can now add CD to the titles above.
Chance is Angel's litter brother.

October 16, 2016

After earning two Rally Excellent legs last December, I wasn't able to show Daffy again until this October 16th.
Partially this was due to her raising
Snowbunny last spring and partly because our horse show schedule interfered.
With a couple weeks at class to remind her that she knew this stuff, I showed her the one day and she passed with a respectable score of 94 out of 100.
Now she's Champion Barberry Jonquil RE BN CGC.
